Not if their parents are on the ball, no. If I'd ever laid a hand on any of my sibs, I'd've been grounded for all eternity.

More importantly, if they're really loving sibs and not borderline abusive, they freaking grow out of it. Fred and George don't until there's a war on.

They were what? 17 during the war. Yeah, that'd be about the time when boys grow out of that shit. And, as someone pointed out on page 10, large families? Are ALWAYS a bit dysfunctional. You have a lot of personality conflicts and the parents can't always keep control (and when Molly does, apparently she's controlling and doesn't love her kids, so clearly this is a lose-lose situation).

Do they have issues as a family? Sure, they're a family. All families have their own weird shit that others don't like. But a lot of people see the Weasleys as a positive model because despite all the teasing, understandable occasional resentment, and such, they still love each other.
