I don't even know why Steve would WANT to be any kind of parent to Peter Parker, but that's just me...

(For the record, I'm speaking as someone who likes everyone listed in the secret.)

To be fair, superfamily is not nearly as big as it used to be. And most of it came out before Civil War.

To some extent, Doctor Strange (magic!Steve) may have replaced Captain America (non-magic!Steve) in the family (at least, when I went looking for Strange/Cloak after a secret about it a while back, I found that the vast majority of fics under Fandom = Doctor Strange were Strange/Stark, and frequently they were raising Peter (and teaching him about beard grooming, I guess?). I like both characters and actors, but I think Strange and Tony have about as much chemistry as a couple of rocks.

Sometimes you even get the weird Steve and Tony are divorced dads who remarried so now Peter has FOUR dads!

Yeah, the Stark/Strange thing has kinda taken over my fandom. Not sure how I feel about it :/ Though, now you've made me want to read Strange/Cloak raising Peter. I don't know why... It's fanfic, I guess.

Curiously Marvel just announced a "What If?" series, including, "What if Illyana Rasputina was adopted by Dr. Strange rather than the X-Men?"
