(Anonymous) 2018-07-23 01:08 am (UTC)(link)I don't care what someone does to another. If someone suicides, it is 100% that person's choice.
It's crap like 13 Reasons Why that make others feel tremendous guilt and shame after someone has suicided.
Even if someone is abusive to another, it may be a factor in the suicide.
But it is still the choice of the person who suicided to take their life and no one else's. We can't take responsibility over what another does with their own life.
I'm sorry, I think you can.

(Anonymous) 2018-07-24 06:50 am (UTC)(link)I'm just replying to the above commenter who seems to believe that there's no way abuse, harassment, or bullying can drive someone to suicide. I believe it can be done. I think sustained abuse or harassment can definitely take a toll and be the deciding factor. And I think that someone treated similarly to the girl in 13 Reasons Why could be counted as someone who was driven to it. I don't know anything about the relationship between Bourdain and Argento, so I suppose it is possible, but I doubt this was the case.
