Making red velvet cupcakes, I misread the amount of food colouring you needed. Put in FOUR BOTTLES of red food colouring. Batter tasted a little funny but oh well I guess that's how this batter tastes. Put the cakes in the oven. When they were done, opened the oven and POISON GAS CAME OUT AND IT STUNG MY EYES. Still didn't realise something was wrong. Took the cakes out, iced them, ate one... Only THEN did I check the recipe and realised I'd fucked up.
