Similar to cayenne anon above, I misread the recipe for my grandmother's mustard potato salad the first time making it again after many years had gone by.

I somehow transcribed what was supposed to be 1/2 cup of sugar in the dressing as.. 1 and 1/2 cups.

Egads that was terrible! Bits of potato and egg floating in a bowlful of super-sweet sauce with barely a hint of mustard in sight. *blargh*
