One of my fandoms has a lot of different pairing weeks and weekends that a lot of writers participate in, which is actually really nice. And each day will have a theme, which is fine. And generally, the themes are broad enough that the writers will end up with completely different types of stories, but occasionally, either the theme is narrower or the writers all have pretty similar ideas. Since they are often posted around the same time, sometimes it will feel like I've already read this same story, like, three times today. It's not a big deal and I can see how it happens and I don't want them to stop with the weeks, but it can be a little irritating, though I would never say that to any of the writers.
