I made arroz con leche in my mother's super expensive pan. I went to do something else and forgot about it until I smelled something burning. The milk had all evaporated and left the pan black. I called my friend, whose mom sold the pans, and begged her to get me one before my mom came home. She told me it wasn't possible, but gave me directions to clean it and I managed to get it all shiny again.
