Yeah, I had no idea how anyone could feel a modicum of sympathy for that guy. He was a big ugly mass murdering asshole, and even his "sympathetic" angle - that he cared about Gamorra - was creepy as fuck. The writing in that movie was just not good enough to pull that off, which made the weird attempts to make his sympathetic really fall flat for me.
