My only real problem with the original dub (aside from the OMG CHILDRENZ R WATCHIGN!!!11 edits) is that they randomly cut out dialogue for no reason and then added a bunch of stuff that completely changed the tone of the scene. For example, in the episode where Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask discover each other's identities, Tuxedo Mask is telling Sailor Moon that he's always going to protect her, while in the NA version, I think he says something about needing the Rainbow Crystals to find the Moon Princess and Sailor Moon agrees. It's like, why? Sure, what happens next is basically the same, and I can't think of any reason why that was necessary at all.

But back in the 90s, for many of us, it was our first and/or only exposure to that story. And considering what it could have been, I'm glad we got the dub.
