Re: What characters did you change your opinion on as you got older?

Teenage-me disliked Boromir because he was mean in Fellowship, but adult me sees the tragedy of his story and is sad at how it turned out.

I also disliked Eowyn for some stupid reason, I think because she killed the Witch King and I thought he looked cool? Idk, but I grew out of that completely and really don't understand why I didn't like her as a teen. She's great.

I still find Harry from HP to be a little dull as a character, but looking back at all the awful shit he went through definitely makes me more sympathetic to him these days.

I used to like Wolverine as a kid, because metal claws in hands, but as I got older and as he got over-used in pretty much every X-Men media made me very meh towards him and these days I kind of avoid stuff with him in.
