starwarsfruitbowl is a pretty nice place, and could use some new blood--- it's been fairly quiet. (Be the change I wish to see in my fandomspaces, I know....) And, yeah, I feel you on how awful the fandom has become... though on the other hand, in the annotated anniversary edition of Heir to the Empire Timothy Zahn mentions getting hate mail for including hot chocolate, among other things, so.
