And let's be real, parents never really get over their kid's suicide. They're always gonna blame themselves for it and wonder "what if I hadn't done that, what if I had done this."

Well, assuming they're not terrible parents, yes. Some parents will gladly welcome the attention it gets them and milk it for the rest of their lives.

Sure, but if they're providing for OP after all these years, I doubt they're that kind of people.
