But... why?
I mean, if it's overexposure I kind of get it but I've always felt that he's fairly pleasant for such a successful guy.
I can't stand some of the shows he's on because of the contestants/ the rest of the jury and he tends to be those shows' only saving grace for me.

I know, right? I'd never heard of him, but now everything is all Zumbo this and Zumbo that...

He's pretty well known in Australia, but only really because he is a regular on Australian Master Chef.

His desserts look so awesome, but I have no hope of ever pulling one off, so I have great respect for anyone on Aus Master Chef who can.

TBH, he seems really cheerful and friendly, like a younger Ron ben Israel. I've never seen him be mean to a contestant, and frankly he was the best thing about Zumbo's Just Desserts. I would cheerfully punt Gigi off a cliff, and the contortions through which his cohost went to avoid getting her lipstick on the food were hilarious to watch. Don't get me wrong, it was a perfect red lip, but Mary Berry doesn't care if she gets some lippy on the cake, and you, madam, are no Mary Berry.

He seems like a nice and very talented guy, but he's nowhere near charismatic enough to host or carry a show. I tried watching Just Desserts, and it seemed like he was half-tranqulized the whole time.
