I totally agree with regards to the more recent (Comedy Central) roasts - they are just unbearable, I don't know why anyone watches 'em.

I haven't seen any of the older ones, I think I'd probably dislike them too though. I think that atmosphere of clubbiness and drunken good times can either be really enjoyable, or really annoying, depending on how much you like the people involved, you know?

But... why?
I mean, if it's overexposure I kind of get it but I've always felt that he's fairly pleasant for such a successful guy.
I can't stand some of the shows he's on because of the contestants/ the rest of the jury and he tends to be those shows' only saving grace for me.

Like, I totally agree with your point of view personally, but it's also hard for me to get mad about people posting what they want to post. It's a bummer that it's popular, I guess, but they're not doing anything wrong. I wish it was different but it's not anyone's fault.

Ha...! I feel similarly. I would loooove to be a part of something like that, and create sweet awesome friendships, but at my age, I'm sure that ship has sailed. Then again, you never know what's going to be a big hit with the public, so... who knows? Maybe there's hope.
