my car was smashed by a drunk teenage sex worker in a monster truck, I had insurance and she didn't, she hit and run, she hid in the bushes from the cops and lied about everything in court (to the point of contradicting herself) and I won but since she had an illegal job they couldn't garnish her wages. I didn't get a fucking penny out of the insurance company.

I'm really sorry. Insurance companies are right bastards and that other driver sounds like one as well. All the stress of a court room too..! My sympathies.
