I'm a very private person, despite my chattiness, and the only things I share online are fandom because that's the only thing I want to engage about with friends and acquaintances. If I feel like talking about anything else, only my close IRL friends are going to hear it. They just can't stand others aren't as openly miserable as them, instead just compartmentalizing like a healthy adult.

When I was younger, I used to air all my troubles online, and boy did that stress me out so much more in the long run. Because everyone's got an opinion, and I finally decided parts of my life are no one's damn business but my own.
