I feel most of it is just an instinctive hatred of anything the Alt Right says. Which, I get. And the Alt Right did go after Gunn because he was a progressive and Trump hater. That doesn't mean what he wrote isn't horrible. That doesn't mean he should keep his job. In this case, the Alt Right found someone who actually said some horrible things and actually does deserve to be fired.
