I mean, yeah. There's a nearly endless stream of incredibly stupid shit on Twitter (and on social media more broadly) (and, indeed, in life more broadly). I love Twitter a lot, but I would never recommend that anyone use it without being very aggressive in terms of controlling the content they see - being selective about who they follow, turning off peoples' retweets, muting people and topics, blocking where necessary, all of those things.

But, I mean, yeah. It's definitely frustrating as hell but I also think like... that's kind of how people are and society is, you know?

God this movie makes me feel bad. It really tickles my age gap kink but since Rossum was really 16 at the time of filming, I feel I really can't revel in the relationships for ethical reasons.

I do enjoy the soundtrack somewhat though. Butler isn't an operatic singer which makes his notes much clearer than stage actors's who often have an ugly vibrato. Rossum isn't great but between Sierra Boggess's bizarre pronounciation of selected consonants and Brightman's dog whistle, I find her version quite enjoyable.

For me it's not about an OTP, but rather the whole series. I know that shows like SPN and Sherlock are not great, but initially I enjoyed them and I believe that I'd still be able to enjoy them a lot more if I hadn't been exposed to such anti-movement as a reaction to the massive popularity. Things like Hbomberguy's criticism video on Sherlock are valid and raise good points, but I was able to enjoy the show in its earlier seasons despite the flaws. Now it feels kind of a drag to watch the shows after such an excessive hate.
