I generally love Buffy to pieces, but I skip more episodes in S2 than any other.

I always skip S4 of Angel entirely.

I'll be honest, the older I get the more I stop watching any of Angel post-S2. For me that was the sweet spot on the show, and pretty much everything afterwards was a slow descent into depressionville.

I pretty much only like Season 5. Yes, even the gut-wrenching final episodes; they were the only part of the series that truly resonated with me emotionally.

2? Wow. I'd put that as my favorite, that or 3. Least for me would be 4. I like the last two episodes, and I like any scene with Willow and Tara. But the reason of the season was the show trying to figure out what to do post-High School, and it didn't quite know what to do yet, and it showed.

There are some GREAT episodes in S2, for sure (e.g., the Angelus episodes), but then there are low points like Go Fish.

For me S4 had less extreme highs and lows than S2; most of the episodes hovered around okay.

Oh, season 2 totally has some terrible episodes. But for me, the Angelus arc is amazing and the best arc of the series and more than makes up for those few bad episodes.

Me, I'm just glad to see someone else who doesn't think 6 is An Abomination That Never Happened.
