What are your least favorite seasons of your fav shows? OR least favorite movie/book/game in a series?

I believe I've complained about the "Final Quest" of Elfquest before.

I complain about everything that happens after Kings of the Broken Wheel.

As do a lot of fans, I've gathered. I don't mind the Shards storyline and I really liked seeing Ember on her own, even if the quality wasn't the best. But Final Quest is just so bad on so many levels that only loyalty to the story made me not drop it.

I generally love Buffy to pieces, but I skip more episodes in S2 than any other.

I always skip S4 of Angel entirely.

I'll be honest, the older I get the more I stop watching any of Angel post-S2. For me that was the sweet spot on the show, and pretty much everything afterwards was a slow descent into depressionville.

I pretty much only like Season 5. Yes, even the gut-wrenching final episodes; they were the only part of the series that truly resonated with me emotionally.

2? Wow. I'd put that as my favorite, that or 3. Least for me would be 4. I like the last two episodes, and I like any scene with Willow and Tara. But the reason of the season was the show trying to figure out what to do post-High School, and it didn't quite know what to do yet, and it showed.

There are some GREAT episodes in S2, for sure (e.g., the Angelus episodes), but then there are low points like Go Fish.

For me S4 had less extreme highs and lows than S2; most of the episodes hovered around okay.

Captain America The First Avenger is my least favorite Captain America solo movie. Bioshock 2 is the worst Bioshock. Season 7 of SPN was the worst season I watched (one of the reason I stopped watching).

7 is totally the worst SPN season. 6 was pretty bad too, but it had some okay parts.

I can still watch 4, and the first twenty episodes of 5. Honestly, it's not even that they're good, I just really like Kutner. He's so funny.

I can watch 4 until House chooses the wrong people. But the best seasons were 2 or 3. 2 slightly edges out for me. Damn it, now I want to rewatch House. I need to find my DVDs.

I can watch parts of 4 -- I actually liked the whole part with House getting new fellows (I wasn't terribly attached to Cameron, Chase and Foreman) but then it dips when he chooses mostly uninteresting people. The finale eps otoh are two of my favorite episodes of the show. Everything after that is a no, though.

The first season of True Detective is one of my favourite seasons of TV ever. Wouldn't change anything about it. Season 2 was just an all-round bad idea. I loved the first two seasons of Lost but it just collapsed in on itself after that.

TV shows:

Supernatural, s6 and 7(and I stopped watching by the end of s7).
Angel, s4.
Buffy, s6.
TNG, s1 and 2 are abysmal.
Friends, s7 and beyond are just kind of eh.
Stargate SG-1, s1.
Stargate Atlantis, s4.

Movies:

Age of Ultron.
Civil War, T'Challa's arc was fantastic but everything else about that movie I just didn't like, bar some character interactions.
(The third Mummy movie doesn't actually exist, but ugh).
Spiderman 3.
Iron Man 2.

Games:

Discworld Noir was fucking terrible.
Bioshock 2 was boring af.
The Warlords of Draenor WoW expansion was pretty bad honestly.

Season 1 of SG-1 wasn't great, but there were some good episodes. Season 9 was terrible. Season 10 they figured out how to sort of make the Ori thing work. But season 9 was the worst.

I hated seasons seven and eleven of Supernatural. I also wasn't a big fan of season twelve, but it had enough decent episodes to keep me interested. For books, I disliked the Shopaholic books where Becky meets her half sister and seriously hated the last two.
