I generally love Buffy to pieces, but I skip more episodes in S2 than any other.

I always skip S4 of Angel entirely.

Captain America The First Avenger is my least favorite Captain America solo movie. Bioshock 2 is the worst Bioshock. Season 7 of SPN was the worst season I watched (one of the reason I stopped watching).

The first season of True Detective is one of my favourite seasons of TV ever. Wouldn't change anything about it. Season 2 was just an all-round bad idea. I loved the first two seasons of Lost but it just collapsed in on itself after that.

Angel, s4.
Buffy, s6.
TNG, s1 and 2 are abysmal.
Friends, s7 and beyond are just kind of eh.
Stargate SG-1, s1.
Stargate Atlantis, s4.

Movies:

Age of Ultron.
Civil War, T'Challa's arc was fantastic but everything else about that movie I just didn't like, bar some character interactions.
(The third Mummy movie doesn't actually exist, but ugh).
Spiderman 3.
Iron Man 2.

Games:

Discworld Noir was fucking terrible.
Bioshock 2 was boring af.
The Warlords of Draenor WoW expansion was pretty bad honestly.

I hated seasons seven and eleven of Supernatural. I also wasn't a big fan of season twelve, but it had enough decent episodes to keep me interested. For books, I disliked the Shopaholic books where Becky meets her half sister and seriously hated the last two.

'Bitch' is a nice word, it rolls off the tongue easily and I like the tch sound. But I'm also partial to 'fucktrumpet'.

"goddammit" and "dickhead" are the hall of fame for me. Variations on the theme of excrement are also very versatile - "dogshit", "shithead", stuff like that. Very expressive.

I tended to swear freely before I had kids, but as I am not patient and forgiving by nature, for things like "Oh, go f--- yourself!" I had to make up substitutes.

Of those, I enjoyed, "Go fart in a paper bag" so much that 20 years later I still use it.

I am going to recover from getting 8 fillings. It was 3 hours ago and my face is still numb. :( Other than that, probably playing some Overwatch or Deadlight.

Not like in a preachy/Very Special Episode kind of way where the story revolves around it (maybe just a brief explanation since not everyone knows what it means), but just a regular story that happens to have an asexual character or two. Is that ok or too Tumblr-y?

Fandom vents/rants

I have a few so I thought I'd put them in one place. Anyone else feel free to share if you have some.

1) My one fandom friend who used to be strongly anti-RPF has now decided that it's totally fine to write fic about a male celebrity and a self insert Mary Sue OFC but shipping him with a male costar is "disrespectful" which I think is homophobic and hypocritical and idiotic.

2) My other fandom friend is not speaking to me at the moment because I dared to ship a pairing with a FOUR YEAR AGE DIFFERENCE because of a "power imbalance". When the pairing in question ARE IN THEIR LATE FORTIES/EARLY FIFTIES. *headdesk*

3) My latest ship is really obscure and the only fandom is, strangely, on Twitter. Part of me wants to join in because at least I'd have somewhere to discuss it, but there are a handful of people tagging the actors and saying cringeworthy, embarrassing shit and I just really don't want to be associated with that at all.
