(Anonymous) 2018-08-20 06:12 am (UTC)(link)I liked Ever After’s reasoning for the Cinderella character to stick around; she considers the other servants as like family and hopes that if one of her stepsisters marries royalty, she’ll get to take back care and management of her father’s house and lands even if she doesn’t own them.
Live action Disney Cinderella sticks around to get treated like shit because her parents loved their house? I guess?
