Sorry to poll you guys so soon after the other one, but the idea came up: tagging posts with the fandoms of the posted secrets.

Pros:
+ Much easier to go back and find specific secrets
+ Much easier to go back and find specific fandoms
+ If you're late(r) to the post, easier to check for your fandoms without loading the post for the Name the Fandom thread

Cons:
- Giant block of tags at the bottom of each post (90 secrets with 90 fandoms = 90 tags in one post -- yeah)
- Waaay labor intensive; 584 posts to go back and tag (though you guys can help with this)

ETA:

Ok! If we do put in tags, they'll go up on the posts after they've moved off the front page. So no GIANT LIST OF TAGS appearing on your flist, but they'll be there for anyone who wants to search the archives.

Would it be general fandoms only?

What about individual bands/actors/singers?

What if it's a secret about an actor that is in many different fandoms?

What about books? File that under author? Or the series name? Or by book?

Just some thoughts.

Series; bands; celebrities; book/author would depend on whether it was actually about a specific series or about the author in general, in which case they'd go under celebrities, most likely

I mean, we've had a few secrets recently which have been about both Breaking Dawn the book, and the author (Stephanie Something?).



I'm just trying to get the gist of how it's going to go, and maybe point out something you may have overlooked. If you've got it all figured out already, don't mind me.

Then probably just series: twilight, since they've mostly been about her in relation TO the series and stuff.

Uhhh, kinda like:
"I wish JKR would continue HP" - series: harry potter
"I think JKR is a terrible writer and HP sucked" - series: harry potter, other: celebrities
"I wish JKR would write another series" - other: celebrities
