Some people like that in real life. Not sane people, probably, but they are out there.

Ugly tattoos or too many tattoos
Too many/obvious piercings
Unkempt beard or hair or just generally poor hygiene
Fat
Really thick neck

It can be hot in fiction, but in real life, jealousy of any kind. It really pisses me off. A partner telling me they don't want me hanging out with someone, or trying to restrict how I dress or who I talk with is not for me. I don't cheat, and if they can't trust that, bye forever.

A lot of things that fall within the definition of "manly". Body odour, hairy limbs, penises.

Tattoos on the face, neck, back and shoulders, especially large ones. I'm not crazy about sleeves either, even if the art is well done. Smaller more subtle tattoos are fine. Ear gauges of any size look gross to me, as do facial piercings.

Chest and/or back hair.

Whenever I read about characters "sharing the same breath" or something between kisses/while cuddling/close I always gag. I hate breathing in someone else's used up breath and instead of it being romantic/hot as is the author's intention, it really disgusts me.

Things that signal self-neglect, like really bad oral hygiene (I don't have great teeth myself but if you're clearly not cleaning them much...) or hair that's greasy or matted (as an ongoing thing, not just a bad hair day or because you were sick).

Great big Mountain Man beards. Muscles so big the guy (or woman) can't move fluidly anymore.

Super-duper fake tans. The greasy, lank, uncombed-for-days 'hairstyle'.

Beard/stubble that goes down the throat - it looks dirty to me, and i imagine how itchy it is and it makes me nuts.

Discolored teeth.

Stretched out earlobes. They just...gross me out so hard.

People who are too full of themselves.

Assuming terrible hygiene is a given, and we're sticking to physical appearance only...

I don't know, it's hard to say I blanket dislike any particular thing. Everybody looks different, and what looks great on one person could look terrible on another and vice versa. Even with the same person, what looked great on someone 10 years ago might look stupid on them now... and vice versa on that too.

Maybe obesity or emaciation so extreme that the person has trouble moving on their own?

My turnoffs are:
Having a mullet
Being super judgemental
Being controlling
General loudness (especially when eating...)
Pretentiousness
Pushiness
Poor hygiene
Dislike of animals
No sense of humor
Loves to troll people both online and offline
And this probably makes me a bad lesbian, but I'm not a huge fan of body hair.

One time I was chatting with someone and they said something flirty and I looked up and made direct eye contact

... and their eyes were the exact same color as my dad's. Sort of spotty blue-grey.

I can't unfeel that bad feel.

Bald heads. There are maybe a couple obsessions (mainly women). But generally lack of hair is a turn off.

Lots of body hair. Too much body hair grosses me out.

Just physically? Aside from hygiene-related things, the only things I can think of are beards and extreme hairiness. The people I've found the most attractive have been pretty much all over the map, appearance-wise.

- bald or super short (like buzzcut) hair. In general, the longer the better.
- body hair
- most facial hair, especially bushy hipster beards
- big muscles
- in general, the rugged/manly look on men and the butch look on women
- ear gauges and septum piercings
- body odor
- arrogance, aggressiveness, macho-ness

People dead in the eyes
People who lack empathy
People who don't respect personal space/personal property
Liars
People who bash their exes, especially on first dates
"Those who are nice to you but not nice to the waiter"
People mean to anyone/anything weaker/smaller than them
Anyone okay with everyone else around them suffering as long as they get what they want
People with an obvious addiction/substance abuse problem (I was once talking to a guy who... let's just say, I could smell what he had been drinking the previous night)
People who have no problem going into debt keeping up with the Joneses/having the latest toys for appearances' sake

For the more shallow stuff:
People who bathe in fragrances
People who don't bathe/shower/cleanse at all
People who don't clean up after themselves, especially if they are having guests/visitors
People who have had too much non-reconstructive plastic surgery (I can understand one or two things, but a walking plastic doll turns me off)
People who make too many gross sounds, like snot sucking

Man-bun hairstyle.
Lying.
Cologne that can knock a horse dead at thirty paces.
A life that revolves around addiction and controlled substances.

BO/poor hygiene
Not making an effort (so many men are like this, goddamn. If your shit ass wants ME To fucking dress to the nines, then by fucking CHRIST you better have on something besides cargo shorts, a faded to gray once upon a time it was black polo shirt and stank ass tevas on your crusty fucking hooves, you fuckwit)
People who are rude to service people
Racists/sexits/homophobes/transphobes

Funny how so many people didn't read the "leave out obvious things" part and are listing personal hygiene, controlling behavior, being an asshole/sociopath/drug addict/bigot, etc.

Those are all obvious things, you guys.

My list: extreme body hair, bushy beards, piercings/tattoos in general, bulky musculature (no gym rats, thanks), dressing like a frat bro

Man-buns, undercuts, long beards, that one cologne that seems to be moderately popular that smells like pickled armpits, smugness and wearing lace-up shoes without socks.
