I have American Girl and A Girl for all Time dolls. ^^

Nice. I've always wanted an AG girl but I can't justify the price for so little articulation right now.

I mainly like them for the nostalgia (always wanted one as a kid, have ten now) and their faces. I think their expressions are very sweet and I love all the accessories. If you know about doll repair or have the time and patience to watch YouTube tutorials, you can buy a trashed one pretty cheaply. I wouldn't recommend buying a new one straight from AG now because they're having lots of quality issues and using cheaper materials while raising the prices.

Reading a good book, being in the woods near water, gardening, cooking, finding awesome fic about my OTPs, petting dogs and cats when I’m out for a walk, seeing cool wildlife, finding the perfect materials for a cosplay.

Sleeping! I knew I forgot something! Now if only it would rain so my local chaparral scrub would green up and the seasonal streams would run again—either that, or I need to win the lotto so I can move to the PNW (the part that’s not currently on fire, anyway.) Also finding the perfect cosplay materials and new plants and the water to keep them alive would be a lot easier if I was rich.

What’s your cosplay supply white whale/holy grail? Do you have a garden right now? What do you grow?

Haha, a lot of things would be easier if we were rich!

I live in an apartment so no real garden, but I have a pot of green onions and some herbs as well since I can bring them inside in winter.

Ugh, I so badly want to cosplay Alice's RE: Extinction outfit but I never con anymore so it seems like it'd be a waste of money to put the effort into it.

Oh man, I got so frustrated living in an apartment (with a north-facing balcony, blech), I hope someday you have the space for a big garden! It’s actually easier to keep a lot of stuff alive in winter here; even in a good year rain is rare to non-existant from June to September and it’s rare we get down to freezing. *Googles* I’m not into games but I’m assuming Alice is the woman in the promo images? Looks like aside from the guns the outfit could be mostly assembled from thrift store and rtw stuff, especially if you can get ahold of a lot of secondhand belts to frankensew. Maybe for Halloween one year, if not cons?

Licking the salt off goldfish crackers. Petting my dog's face. My dog's face in general. Finding out Dan Carlin's put out a new episode of Hardcore History. Stepping outside right after it's finished raining and just breathing in the petrichor.

Seeing all the geckos, moths, beetles and frogs that take over my back porch during the spring and summer
Going yard saling with my mom on Saturdays

When my dog comes for cuddles or doesn't want cuddles but wants to sleep curled up beside me and I feel his body heat and love <3
