I'm off work today. I went for a short, 35-minute run, did all my laundry and I'm currently waiting for USPS to deliver a package that I have to sign for (and it's now 4:25 PST and still no mail carrier, sigh, hopefully they'll be here sometime this evening).

Watched MST3K, put $$ on laundry card, got lamb chops out of freezer for dinner, called friend.
Found out other friend died.

Today was my busy day that does not involve meetings. Had a chili potluck at work to raise money for someone. I had to eat some mysterious chili someone made. Feeling good so far.

Went to an 8am hearing in Pearsall (2 hour drive) for my very sick boss. Tried to get work done the rest of the day. I've got a bug of some kind, feels like a flu, with a 101 degree fever. Unfortunately my boss is even sicker and in the ER. And courts don't really care if you are sick. So going to court again tomorrow.

Stayed home from work because I was in a lot of pain from my car accident last week. I was already off tomorrow so I'm hoping having a couple days to rest will be helpful and I'll be feeling better by Friday.

Tomorrow morning I'm getting bilateral sacroiliac injections, and I have to admit I'm a bit nervous about the procedure, mostly because I'm afraid it won't help with my pain and I'll have gone through all of that pain and spent all that money (I have insurance, but it's a crappy plain and my co-pays are a bitch) for nothing. Also, in the afternoon my mom's taking her state board exams for phlebotomy, and she's super nervous about it (even though she finished the actual course at the top of her class and helped all of her classmates pass as well all while dealing with the teacher from hell who hated mom from the start), so if y'all could wish us both luck in getting through tomorrow with good results, I'd greatly appreciate it.
