I don't generally "trawl" any media looking for stuff to watch or read. I have more than enough options just from recommendations or noticing advertizing or stumbling across something. The fact that I don't have to "leave work early" is pretty irrelevant when it comes to whether I've seen something.
I seriously doubt a high enough proportion of adults are sifting through kids media for their own entertainment that you can just assume any random adult has seen a particular kids show if they don't have kids in the right age range.
