I'm not sure how I feel about this. I love Mushu and I love the songs in Mulan, but I was also hoping for it to be a little more serious. Then again, I haven't liked any of the live-action Disney movies they've done (especially Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast), so maybe it'll be okay? I dunno.

There is apparently a somewhat recent Chinese version of Mulan which isn't related to the Disney version afaik and is a more serious take based on the original legend. Idk how easy it would be to get your hands on it but it's out there!

There are numerous Chinese versions of Mulan, especially right after the Disney came out. But I wouldn’t even know where to get my hands on one of them now, let alone a subbed version for non-Mandarin speakers.

I just don't know. I loved that trailer. But from what I've read, they're making magic evil and Sabrina having to choose between good (mortal life) and evil (magic). I hate that. But the trailer does look deliciously creepy.

Where did you read that? JW - I think it'd be really easy to have magic be largely used by evil people (which is fine for a horror-inflected series), without having magic be evil in itself

I know a lot of people were rolling their eyes about it, but I really love that the pocket edition is getting an HD version on console, because my phone is too old to play the mobile one. :( It looks so cute! And I really want to hear/see the cut material from the main game that snuck into it.

Also, how cute was World of Final Fantasy Noctis?? ahhhhhh
