OK, let me rephrase that, then: she hated living with him, which she made emphatically clear. In fact, IIRC, immediately following that passage you've so selectively picked out, she refutes his claims and just basically said that even though he's a massive dick, he's sad and pathetic and so she can't bring herself to hate him.

I can see why a lot of people, in the fandom and outside of it, think she made the right choice, but I think you are way oversimplifying far more complex feelings.

And even assuming that she did harbor hidden feelings for him as you are arguing, I don't see how that would turn her staying with her creepy, controlling, douchebag stalker into an intelligent or laudable decision. Actually, I'm sort of disturbed by the fact that people act like it would.
