Hamill is in the next movie, and even if we didn't know that for sure, I would be *very* surprised if they didn't go that route.

After all, Luke had help from Obi-wan, Yoda and even Anakin after they died. How fair would it be to leave Rey on her own, especially after she helped in get back in touch with the Force?

Exactly. Obviously he's coming back. Dead Jedi show up all the damn time. And sadly, it's the only way to have one of the original three in it now.

Same, OP. I'd be really surprised if this didn't happen, because I can totally see Luke slipping into the same role Obi-Wan had. It'd be coming full circle and honestly, I think the franchise needs the heart and warmth he brings to it, especially now that Carrie Fisher's gone.
