Sims Medieval. I wish you could just let it all be free play. I know after a certain amount of points you get to a free play world, but it would've been nice to have had at the start.

Also, I wish time passed. That would make more sense, especially if your monarch has kids. I'd rather do a dynasty with free play.

That's a good answer. It had some fun points, but it was boggling that you couldn't just create houses from scratch and free play. Why not just recolor Sims with the medieval fantasy overlay? That would've been so fun.

AYRT: Yes! I think they were trying to make The Sims more... gamer-ish? But the Sims players like The Sims exactly for what it is.

I guess you can get costumes, but that's not at all the same thing. I liked the fantasy/medieval overlay, just not the lack of free play.

I guess they were trying to make it more "quest" based to sort of reflect the fantasy. I could understand that following your characters around town to do quests was more interesting than just staying at home with them. But no reason they had to make it a glorified dollhouse game!
