Re: Fandom secrets you're too lazy to make

There's a moderately popular artist in my main fandom (though she's been quiet lately) who has gotten away with some intensely shady shit, up to and including throwing one of my best friends under the bus to avoid taking responsibility for drama she 100% created on her own, and the temptation is so, so high to unleash an absolute avalanche of receipts on her to prove to everyone that she was the shitty one all along.

I won't, for a lot of reasons. Not the least of which being that (god help me) I still care about her. But Jesus it burns me that she got away with it, and my friend is still dealing with the repercussions of it.

Honestly, don't hold back just because you care about her. At the very least, confront her about it. You're not doing someone you care about any favors at all by continuing to enable the behavior. If anything, you're allowing the problem to grow and it'll hurt all parties involved even more in the end. What about your other friend?
