A) "Music of the Night"--I'm not saying Crawford is the end-all be-all, I just think Butler's voice was cracking and shifting in all the wrong places, and it just sounded horrible.
B) His "horrible scarring" has been reduced to a bad rash around one eye. I accept that the man has a nose. Hey, he's sexy, I don't mind it. But the reason the Phantom in the musical only had so much disfigurement was that he couldn't sing around prosthetics. That point is moot in a filmed version. Not that they shouldn't keep him sexy--let's face it, musical!Phantom is sexy in theory, but if we're going to have it as a movie, we need to have someone people (and fangirls) can stomache looking at for two hours.
Other than that, I think it was beautiful, and I liked Butler's performance. Not as much as I like Crawford's (vocally, anyway), because Crawford had this beautiful, brittle madness to him that I loved. No one does psychotic laughter like Crawford.

115. Well, thanks for that. I spent five minutes staring at that picture, trying not to cry. I was just getting over the fresh wave of "G*****t HEATH WHYDIDYOUDIEYOUWEREN'TSUPPOSEDTODIEYOUHADSTUFFTODO!!!" and there's that picture.
Crap.
I can't imagine a more heartbreaking picture for this.

Also, why's it seem no one ever whines for, oh, Supernatural to make it's own secrets comm?

Seriously. It freaked me the hell out when I first noticed it a few weeks ago, but I didn't really want to say because I thought it would sound lame. But it's so creepy, like those photos of the dead they had in The Others. It's almost...premonition-like.
I think I only noticed it after seeing the movie because prior to that, I didn't realise how lively the Joker was, and how, really, this picture has almost nothing to do with the character at all. But the other way around...
Frick. I feel like it was foreshadowing, now. Like we all should've been Genre Savvy enough to see it coming.
126. That's disgusting. No, really, there's no other word for it. Granted, you picked three women that I don't find to be the best story-tellers in the world as your examples, but your wording basically implies you're fine with a book until you find out it's by a woman.
That is--simply put--disgusting. "What's Worse" is nothing. What's worse is you're a human being.

Mind, I'm not complaining, I don't care. I scroll past them, and only get annoyed if there's like, seven in one day. But even then, I'm not particularly moved to make a Secret about why Supernatural Secrets need to go away.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure people's issues with the DK secrets is that they're all more or less the same. At least the SPN secrets are somewhat different. That's what I'm taking from this, anyway.

Never said I loved the 2004 movie to death, but I don't think it's as bad as everyone makes it out to be. There are just qualities from each actor that appeal to me.
I still want to see an Nadir, too (other than the 1920's version).
