That's entirely possible. I heard he did a lot of freaky method acting stuff to get him in the right state of mind to play Joker.

That's just people trying to blame his death on a freaky role. He was halfway through another movie when he died and had let go of whatever 'mindset' he was in when he played The Joker.

Sorry if I snapped a little but most people who say stuff like that are implying that he killed himself, when it's simply not true.

If he was going to kill himself he’d have taken a bottle-full of the same pills, not taken the right dosage of a few different ones and hoped for the best. He was prescribed pills by two different doctors and had no way of knowing the adverse affects they’d have on his exhausted system.

It's alright. I can understand why most people think that, though. Being the Joker seems like a much scarier thing than watching the Joker.

Yeah, I do see where you're coming from. The picture from the original secret was taken on-set, his hair is green and he's probably about to go in to make-up. If he was all that wound-up in The Joker in a scary method-actor kind of way, I doubt he'd have her on set, you know?

It really is just that people needed an excuse for it so they chose to pin it on him going crazy because of the role.
