146: I know all the "I'd hit that" Joker secrets are a bit much...but I think the people who make those secrets KNOW that he wouldn't go all puppies and romance on them. Seriously. It's a crush on a character and they're having little fantasies about it. Fantasies! I'm pretty sure they know he'd kill 'em or mutilate them or whatever if this was happening in reality. Or, y'know, imagine they could be Ms. Quinn, heh.

lol. Still don't care.

And finding the personality of "would kill the person dearest to them..." etc. sexy is not exactly uncommon in fandom.

Which I've always found kinda whacked.

How many people absolutely adore the most twisted and evil of villains? Loads! People post about it on FS because, hey, it does seem a bit weird...probably in the same way people feel weird about rape fetishes or other kinky things. Yeah Joker is terrifying. For some people terrifying also equals hawt.

So I've gathered.

Yeah, so you don't need to protect the dumb joker fangirls using your superior grasp of the character. Fangirling is fangirling, y'know? (I'm not a Joker fan or anything, I just can see where they're coming from.)

No no no. See. This is my way of laughing at them. Repeatedly. You can't stop someone from lusting after a fictional character (and why would I want to? Not really the type to want to dictate what other people like or don't like)

But I laugh at them. And laugh at myself for laughing at them. It's all an endless cycle of ridiculosity.

I'm not trying to "save" anybody and the long setup was trying to explain the mental imagery. It's mockery. And then understanding that the mockery isn't even srs bizness. "It's just a show, I should really just relax." Crow, Tom Servo, Joel, and Mike, are just a ridiculous as what they mock, and that's a-okay.

Sense of humor at oneself? Get some, Joker fangirls? That you wrote this prissy a response to it denotes need.

Aww man, I sound prissy? Well that sucks. I'm gonna have to go out and buy a lace handkerchief now or something. Eh, lace handkerchiefs are pretty cool.

Ya anyway, funny is funny but you kinda failed. Comes across more like "Ahem, excuse me ladies and gentleman, but I am an expert on this sort of thing don't you know blah blah blah"

Methinks things are funnier when they're not mocking you. Then the butt, it gets less hurt.

And even if no one else thought it was funny, it only matters so long as you get your own joke.
