126 - I don't normally pay much attention to whether or not the author is female. All of my favourite authors are male, but I don't know if that means anything. I just find myself losing interest if it's a female protagonist. I don't know why, but I just relate better to male lead characters than females... which should probably worry me, what with me being a chick and all.

131 - I think you should go ahead and read them. I read them, mainly because I wanted to be able to make fun of them and know what I was talking about, and I actually surprisingly enjoyed them. Oh, you're right, Bella's an ENORMOUS Mary Sue and you'll want to rip her throat out after the first two pages... but the rest of the characters are fun. Sure, Edward and Jacob have their Gary Stu-ness going on, but they're so much more fun about it. And heck, even if you don't like it, at least you'll be able to tell your sister you tried. And she'll appreciate that.

148 - Comet pwns EVERYONE. Man, I love that horse. Also, LOL at Brisco County theme being the Summer Olympics theme. Hah!

156 - There are worse people to emulate than the Rani.

164 - Jim Carrey was an AMAZING Riddler. If the third Christian Bale movie does actually have the Riddler in it, they're going to have a really hard time finding anyone half that awesome to play him.

172 - Congratulations! I'm 25 years old, and I still get off my bike and push it down hills. I also push it up hills... so, yeah. I'm a crappy bike rider. But yay for fandom courage!
