Yeah, I've noticed that too that gore or very explicit content gets published more often in VNs. I guess because they are usually sold by individual people at cons rather than being published by big companies.

But yes, gore is common on VN.

I finally watched this film last week and dear god people weren't kidding when they said it's a train wreck. I enjoyed the first one, even when it almost completely killed off my good faith with that ridiculously shitty end scene. But the sequel just doesn't even have any forgivable charm going for it and Merlin's death was one of many issues I had with it.

Tbh with both Roxy and Merlin gone I'm not at all fussed about the third film.
