Spending money on takeout. I never regret the food, but I regret spending the amount of money when I could spend it on groceries and get more meals out of that amount of cash.

Have you ever had a dream not about the canon but about fandom? Last night I dreamed that Reylo became canon in the third movie and there was a huge meltdown. (I don't even care that much about Reylo one way or the other, except subconsciously I guess.)

I’m a sheltered rich kid who’s also autistic and am now living semi-independently and have learned various things. Most recently, that the presence of a mouse in my apartment is something that occasionally happens to people who keep their food sealed up like I do, especially in an apartment building because I could easily have a messy neighbor, and I’m not a failure at being an adult just because a speedy fist-sized something just skittered across my floor. And that my kitchen counter being mysteriously covered with water lately can eventually be traced to a probable leak in the pipe on the other side of my wall, and is also not my fault.

To make this a discussion thread, what things have you learned about adultery* that surprised you and may have scared you before you asked a parent or other seasoned adult who said it was at least somewhat normal?

*I like humorous misuse of words.
