My brain has been the worst bully to me since high school and I wonder if its possible to live life without the nagging voice going "people will think you're ugly if you wear that" "You sound really full of yourself." "People think you're fake/annoying" "Well aren't you just so pitiful?" "nobody cares, quit talking about it"

There has to be something better than this in life.

Right there with you. I work on putting positive thoughts in. But I still have to work at it. THe negative, self-hating comments come automatically.

I get intrusive thoughts like that too sometimes, and my solution was to give that little voice a name (I call it Jessica). So whenever I have an intrusive thought, like "People will think you're ugly if you wear that", I say to it, "You're so full of shit, Jessica, do you ever get tired of being wrong?" It works pretty well!
