zomg, random websites, just automate an email if you change the type of password you accept to say "We have suddenly decided that you need these new things in passwords and your current password doesn't work, so please update your password". Don't just ... not tell me, and then I try to log in, and it's all PLEASE ENTER A VALID PASSWORD". And let me request a reset, and then, only THEN, when I'm trying to create a new thing, reveal the new magic extras you need to secure from the prying eyes of evil hackers the sensitive data that is my taste in shoes or images I've uploaded for memes. Bah. and HUMBUG.
