However, people get so fucking catty and aggressive about it to the point they don't actually want positive change, they just want the moral high ground. They WANT people to remain ignorant so they can have some receipts to write callout posts on tumblr.
They only care about stuff on a surface level not out of an actual drive to educate people and make the world a more tolerant place.
Like, for fucks sake, even if some problematic person sees the error or their ways and tries to apologize they still get called scum. They don't want to believe people can change.
