Wouldn't you be anxious no matter what exchange you sign up for? Like, why would it just specifically be on AO3?

I'm not the OP, but I can say that there are certain... ways to sign up that can trigger my anxiety while others don't. Like, I can app for RPs on journal sites without a problem, though I'll have bigger issues if I have to lay down a hold. But on a forum? It makes my heart SEIZE. Same with the idea of tumblr. Anything that involves sending a personal message to someone in order to get involved. Hard nope from me.

Now, I have no idea what signing up for an exchange on AO3 looks like, but if it's a different format than what the person is used to, I totally get it.
