Whaaaaaaaaat.

Wait, do you mean, like, deep-frying as opposed to pan-frying?

I've seen people put it on a tray in the oven instead of pan frying, but I've never tried it myself.

Right, but to me, I would never consider that superior to pan-frying. It's way more convenient and easy, but I don't like the flavor nearly as much.

I like to cook it in the oven, but only when it's cold enough out to turn the oven on. My parents always used to cook it in the microwave because they had a special bacon microwave pan and it came out good. You can microwave it between paper towels on a normal plate, but I do't like the results very much. You can also cook it in a pan but start out with a little water in the pan to cook it more evenly, but I guess that would still be considered pan-frying.

Bake it. All of the bacon gets crispy and you don't have gross fatty pieces.

fair enough, for me having some of the fattiness in there is crucial to the whole thing

Yup. I get not wanting to overdo the cholesterol and sat fat or trans fat, but fat is flavor.

See, I like chewy bacon and not crunchy bacon, so I like pan frying it.
