Lori from TWD and Bedelia from Hannibal

The big one is Lori from TWD. She added nothing to the plot outside of an unnecessary and infuriating love triangle. She basically exists purely to give Rick and Carl some angst. And her entire plotline was just a repeating loop of her doing something stupid or self-centered and the audience is supposed to be entertained by this or feel bad for her??????

OR, or....

I would write out Bedelia from Hannibal. (I KNOW this is heresy, because Gillian Anderson was phenomenal and the character is great, but!) I thought that overall her inclusion weakened a lot of the later season storylines. Her character was really redundant and didn't add much that was unique. I think pretty much all of her scenes could have easily been rewritten with Alana, Abigail, or Will in her place without losing anything, and the end result would have been more cohesive and believable.

The only plotline that might not work as well without her is the "I believe you" thing when Will's locked up. And that could easily be shifted onto Katz, Freddie, Purnell, or even Margot. The strength of the plotline isn't that it's coming from Hannibal's psychiatrist, it's that anyone believes Will at all.

I agree with you on Lori from TWD. She was just... useless.
