"I said I only shipped them as unrequited because anything more would be weird, but the truth is... I check the Pixiv and Twitter searches for their ship name fairly often. I even look at the smuttier fanart. With the way they both talk about each other, it’s honestly really hard to not view their relationship in a romantic light even though the age gap is super skeevy. In the timeframe pictured, Nagi's 13; it's a flashback. Literally 95%+ of all shippy content for them is set during that timeframe (since we only saw them interacting when Nagi was 13 and Haruki just decided to poof by the time he's 18).

Nagi is definitely 19 during the events of the actual main plot, yes, but not here necessarily.
