It's not like there's not a million other movies out there to watch, and the idea in principle of not wanting to show your kids stuff with old fashion messages seems reasonable

It's not the end of the world if a kid doesn't watch two Disney movies. People who are clutching their pearls over this need to ease up on the Disney koolaid.

This is true. I wasn't really into Disney as a kid and certainly missed out on quite a few movies. I don't see anyone pearl-clutching or acting like it's the end of the world in the secret or in this thread, though.

OP likely made the secret because there has been a lot of drama surrounding Knightley's parenting decision, including a great deal of pearl clutching over how she's depriving her child and how actually she is the sexism.
