If I could find a job in California, I'd move in a heartbeat. Even willing to take the CA bar, which is supposed to be the hardest. I just want this stupid, awful pain to go away.

And yes to LGBT discrimination. Then again, I think we need better anti-discrimination laws in general. Some countries have laws that include private actors, and I think that is good. Sadly, in this country, "private actors" that get tax cuts (aka religious organizations and churches) are still allowed to discriminate all they want.

I agree completely. But if they don't, then they shouldn't be allowed to discriminate. Because government giving tax break is the same as government funding and therefore means there is government action. They shouldn't be allowed to have it both ways. They shouldn't be allowed to discriminate while also receiving tax breaks. They should have the exact same laws as any other government agency/employer.

well said. it also pisses me off that they get breaks in where they can park that nobody else does. I live near San Francisco, where it's ridiculously hard to find parking, and people can park to go to church where they can't park for any other reason.
