Delete the comments. AO3 gives you the power to do it, so use it. I personally have no issue with deleting comments on my work. Or at least maybe start changing the settings on your fics so that you can moderate the comments like others have suggested.

Yes. Offensive and far out comments that are more concerned with their own opinions than the fic they are commenting on, should be deleted. Their commenters can go and ramble somewhere else.
