(Anonymous) 2018-10-27 12:53 am (UTC)(link)Because life is complicated and busy, most of the members of the group have had to skip a few sessions, here and there. In fact, the only person who hasn't skipped a session (apart from the friends who host every session, because, well, they're the hosts) is me. The one week I couldn't attend, so many other people couldn't attend either that we cancelled.
This wouldn't be more than a very minor annoyance but for the other thing that occurred to me.
We aren't being awarded XP, and levelling up based on XP - we're just all taking a level at the end of each 'chapter'. So players who've come to every third session are advancing just as much as me!
This really shits me, but I can't say a damn thing about it - partly because like hell we're changing our system after this many week of play, and partly because I'm pretty certain everyone already thinks I'm a bitch.
