While I do roll my eyes at them quite a bit now... I actually have a feeling that there may have been a chance that, had tumblr been around and I'd been on it during the heyday of my teen fujoshi phase, I probably would have ended up in the tumblr "MLM" crowd as well.

Fujoshis who fell too far down the rabbit hole and instead of just shipping m/m ships, they fetishise it so much that they pretend to be gay trans bois. And they co-opt the term mlm (men loving men) from the actual trans community (a term that exists because gay is apparently not inclusive enough for gay trans guys?).

I am highly uncomfortable with the way the idea of "pretend to be gay trans bois" is being used here

Well too bad. Plenty of actual trans people also feel no bueno because of these "don't need dysphoria or even vaguely attempt to pass, being trans is a choice, I'm such a cute pastel kitsch uke boi uwu" chicks, so there.
